The Western Carolina University Concert Band, conducted by Kenneth Kroesche, assistant professor of music, will perform a concert on Wednesday, March 7.
The 8pm performance will take place in the recital hall of the Coulter Building. The concert is free and open to the public.
Bradley Ulrich, associate professor of music at WCU, and Al Hoel, visiting professor of music at WCU, will be featured soloists in “Concerto for Two Trumpets” by Antonio Vivaldi.
Other featured works will include “Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo,” in commemoration of the 80th birthday of British composer Sir Malcolm Arnold, and “Children of the Regiment,” a Prussian march by Julius Fucik.
