Various aspects of the “rave” phenomenon will be discussed during a panel discussion Wednesday, March 28, at Western Carolina University.
Panelists will discuss the spiritual, medical, psychological, legal and student side of raves from 7 to 8pm at Illusions Dance Club. The club is located on the third floor of A.K. Hinds University Center.
A “rave” is typically described as an all-night dance party attended primarily by young people, and characterized by electronic music and drug use by many participants.
The discussion, free and open to everyone, is being sponsored by WCU’s Coulter Faculty Center and offices of Counseling and Psychological Services, and Health Services.
