Dear Editor,
As I sit in my apartment in shock over the days events I still have this one question that sticks out in my head, “WHO COULD HATE AMERICA THIS MUCH?” I have never in my life experienced such a horrible act towards a great nation.
I don’t have any family and friends in New York or Washington, DC. I know that there are students, faculty, and staff here at Western that have friends and family that they are worried about. The mood on campus on Tuesday September 11, 2001 was very quiet. The majority of the student body has never experienced anything even remotely close to this. We are all in shock, disbelief and scared of what is to follow.
I urge my fellow students to be there for one another. We at Western are what I like to call a close community and we have to stick together.
