Western Carolina University student Daniel Davis Brown II of Durham recently received one of three North Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association Presidential Scholarships for Leadership. Brown graduated from Northern High School in 2006 and his parents are Ken and Rhonda Brown. He expects to graduate in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. Brown also was recently awarded a summer internship with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens as an athletic trainer.
