The Western Carolina women’s tennis team fell to College of Charleston Sunday 7-0 in collegiate tennis action at the Silcox Courts.
WCU’s Shelby Fitzpatrick lost a hard fought battle in the first game 6-3 to Charleston’s Marcella Valkenhoff. She then fell 6-1 in the second game.
Emmy King and Amy Rex also fell 6-3 in a close and Emily Scatuorchio respectively. They both fell 6-0 in the second game.

The Western Carolina women’s tennis team fell to Georgia Southern Saturday, March 10 at Hanner Courts by a score of 5-2.
Shannon Zalinski and Emmy King captured the team’s only two wins. Zalinski defeated Amy Winter 7-5, 6-1 while King defeated Callie Ward 7-6, 4-0, ret.
