WCU Music Department and Asheville Symphony to Perform

Western Carolina University music students and faculty and members of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra will join together for a special concert of symphonic music on Sunday, April 22.

The 4pm performance will take place in the recital hall of WCU’s Coulter Building. Tickets are $3 for WCU students and senior citizens, $5 all others.

The ensemble, conducted by WCU music professor John West, will perform the Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony,” Rossini’s “Overture to La Gazza Ladra (The Thieving Magpie)” and “Enigma Variations” by Sir Edward Elgar.
