CIS STUDENTS WIN AT NATIONAL MEETING

Students from Western’s chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals won awards at the AITP Collegiate Conference held in Kansas City, Missouri. A team consisting of WCU students Daniel Arthur, Brandy Cody and Derek Layman placed fourth out of more than 50 teams in the network design competition.

Nearly 100 colleges and universities from across the nation were represented at conference. Competitions in several categories, including network design, web application, systems analysis and programming, were held.
