Gregory Ross, President/CEO of the newly formed entertainment company will travel to major cities throughout the country to audition that special talent in hopes of finding an act that will enhance his label and take it to the top. Forget about American Idol! Aspiring artists will have the opportunity to become instant hometown heroes, live, before family and friends, when Flaxgold Entertainment launches its talent search on October 9, 2004 in Murphy, North Carolina That’s right, random auditions are scheduled to take place all day Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 130 Holiday Drive in Murphy, NC 28906. Other auditions will take place thereafter in Atlanta, GA; New Orleans, LA; Orangeburg, SC; Sisseton, SD; Detroit, Mich; Chicago, Ill; and New York City, NY; The list continues to grow. This contest will encompass the whole nation. “We are looking for the sound of a new America,” Ross said. The regional showcase auditions will take place in concert venues and shopping malls across the country with the regional semi-finals taking place on different dates as well” Ross said. “This search will generate the kind of excitement reminiscent of Berry Gordy’s Motown. This is the kind of energy which is reflective of our company”.

Auditions are to be no more than 3 minutes in length. Please have all audio-video tapes or CDs cued up to the beginning of your selection. Twenty lucky contestants will be picked from each audition to compete in their regional semi-finals. Two lucky winners will advance to the finals. The winners from the finals will be flown to Hollywood, CA to record a CD single which will be nationally released and promoted. The winner will also receive a cash prize of $1000. Second through fifth place winners in the finals will also receive a cash prize.
