Georgia Southern scored four touchdowns in a little over a 10-minute span in the fourth quarter on Saturday, Oct. 25 to void a 28-point Western Carolina lead.
Sparked by a 12-yard touchdown pass from Lee Chapple to Raja Andrews, Jarrell Crawford followed with a 1-yard rushing score, Antonio Henton connected with Andrews on a 13-yard touchdown pass and Henton capped the rally with a 5-yard passing score to Tim Camp that sent the game into OT.
On the first play of overtime, Urbano ran for the game-winning 25-yard score to give the Eagles the win 38-31.
By the numbers, Urbano led Georgia Southern with 83 yards rushing on 11 carries, while Andrews caught eight passes for 121 yards. Henton threw for 154 yards and two interceptions, and Chapple passed for 140 yards and was intercepted twice.
Freshman Quan Warley ran for 102 yards and a touchdown for Western Carolina, while sophomore Zack Jaynes, who completed 13 of 35 passes, had 144 yards passing and two touchdowns along with being sacked five times – three of which came from Georgia Southern defensive end Dakota Walker.
