Students present at national nursing conference

Two WCU nurse anesthesia students presented their graduate student research in a conference poster at the national conference for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists in August in Seattle.  The title of their research was: “What Pharmacologic Characteristics of Propofol Contribute to its Use as Drug of Abuse?”  

The two students, Erica Edgington, BSN, RN, SRNA and Amelia Hinds, BSN, RN, SRNA are first and second author. Third author is Claire DeCristofaro, MD (Associate Professor, MSN Program, School of Nursing) and Mason McDowell, MSNA, CRNA (Assistant Professor, MSN PRogram, Nurse Anesthesia, School of Nursing).
