My name is Larysa West. I am the sister of Virginia LaCombe, one of the greats on WCUs’ track team.Recently, I entered Virginia in a contest for Athlete of the Month. The contest is hosted by the Oxygen channel/Harris Teeter and Time Warner cable. Out of fifty entrants for the month of April, Virginia won. An “in action” photo will be featured in a commercial running through the week of the 22nd. The commercial will be aired on many stations such as MTV, BET, ESPN, ESPN 2, LIFETIME, E!, and OXYGEN, as well as others. I wanted to tell Virginia that her accomplishments are outstanding! Way to go, Ginny! Congratulations!!
