A snow storm that delayed the start of school has caused the following:
Weather-Related Adjustments to Add/Drop, Late-Registration & Refund Day
Add/Drop: The Add/Drop period has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18. During add/drop students may drop classes without penalty. After add/drop students must withdraw (no refund; course shows on transcript with grade of W.) Web-based schedule adjustments will be permitted throughout the Add/Drop period.
Late-Registration: Late-Registration has been extended until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 25. Late-Registration runs from January 19 through 5:00 p.m. January 25. To add a class after Add/Drop ends (during the five days of Late-Registration) students must complete a Late-Registration Form which requires permission of the instructor in order to add a class to their schedule. After January 25 students will not be able to add classes to their schedule. (This announcement will not actually appear in MyCat until Add/Drop ends on Jan 18)
Financial Aid Refund Day: Due to weather-related adjustments to the university calendar, Financial Aid Refund Day has been adjusted to be January 25. To expedite receipt of Financial Aid refunds students are encourage to sign-up for direct-deposit. Instructions for how to sign-up for direct-deposit can be found online at http://www.wcu.edu/13115.asp.
