Kaitlyn Connelly was appointed a Copy Editor for The Western Carolinian in the fall of 2012.
Kaitlyn attended a conference in Chicago on writing and editing as a representative for The Western Carolinian in October 2012. She learned about interviewing techniques, adapting one’s writing to different mediums, writing for a global audience, and making the workspace comfortable for employers and employees with improvisation.
During her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys hiking, playing intramural softball, reading, watching hockey, going to shows, spending time outside, listening to music, spending time with friends and quoting movies.
Kaitlyn lives in Cullowhee with her two roommates, Casey and Dakota. She tutors for the Writing and Learning Commons at WCU, as well.
Kaitlyn is in her junior year and studies English – professional writing with a minor in mathematics.
