The Cats collected an astounding amount of offense during the opening series. They scored 72 runs over the course of the four games.

Head baseball coach, Bobby Moranda, is thrilled to carry this momentum into their next matchup against USC Upstate on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

“It’s just great just to get our feet wet…get into the mode of playing other people,” said Moranda. “I’m looking forward to next weekend and our next game where we can get a little bit more sound on a few things that I think we need to improve on.”

The Catamount’s next home series is slated for Friday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, Feb. 27 against the Illinois State Red Birds. The first pitch for Friday’s matchup is set for 4 p.m.
